Coconut Oil

Nutiva Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a versatile oil to have in your paleo pantry.  It can be used in many paleo recipes.  I love to use it for sauteing vegetables.  I like it as a snack.  I like it in my coffee.

It is great for the skin, either ingested or rubbed on the skin.  We use it all the time for dry skin in the winter for ourselves and for our children.

Coconut oil has a laundry list of potential health benefits.  To learn about all those, check out Bruce Fife’s book The Coconut Oil Miracle (Previously published as The Healing Miracle of Coconut Oil).  There you’ll read all of the potential benefits for everything from skin health to liver health.

I enjoy the Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil.  I buy it in the large container, it is economical and it tastes good.
